Objective: to report the experience of carrying out Integrative Community Therapy circles with people who experience psychological suffering and their families; and describe the contributions of Integrative Community Therapy to the care of these people. Methodology: this is a qualitative, descriptive study of the experience report type. The following were used as data sources in this study: printouts from the field notebook, minutes, videos/audios obtained from the recording of Integrative Community Therapy circles, a recording protocol defined by the Integrative Community Therapy training center of Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, in addition to Integrative Community Therapy itself. Results: This study revealed that the main suffering experienced by users and their families is related to family conflicts, dependence on alcohol and other drugs and stress. In this sense, the most used coping strategies are: family support, seeking professional help/CAPS and self-care. Conclusion: Integrative Community Therapy is a space of support and mutual care, where bonds are created and bonds are strengthened with the aim of instigating thinking, self-reflection and the capacity for individual and group resilience.
