The study aims to analyze the psychosocial impacts of intimate partner violence during pregnancy for the mother-child binomial. This is an integrative review, carried out on the scientific platforms Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Virtual Health Library (VHL), PubMed and CAPES Periodicals. The period was defined considering the last 5 years, with the aim of searching for the most recent literature on the topic. Articles that address the psychosocial impacts of intimate partner violence on the mother-child binomial during pregnancy were included. Studies focusing on the perpetrators of violence, in which the violence occurred after pregnancy, in which IPV is only mentioned as a risk factor for some complication during childbirth or the postpartum period, which were experience reports, as well as theses and dissertations, were excluded. 17 articles were selected to compose the research, the psychosocial impacts of intimate partner violence were divided as follows, with the same article being able to compose more than one category: three addressed the impacts on the bond between the mother-baby binomial; five addressed the impacts on breastfeeding; eleven addressed maternal psychological impacts. Violence can hinder access to health services, worsening maternal-fetal outcomes. Social support and adequate care are essential to mitigate the effects of IPV, highlighting the need for greater attention from health professionals.
