The article investigates how technology, driven by the COVID-19 pandemic, has transformed people management in micro and small enterprises (MSEs). The study adopts a qualitative approach based on an integrative literature review, analyzing Human Resource practices such
as recruitment, selection, development, and employee monitoring. The results indicate that while technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, enhance efficiency and agility in processes, there is a scarcity of studies specifically focused on MSEs, hindering the understanding and practical implementation of these innovations. It concludes that technologies offer significant opportunities to improve people management, but gaps in the literature remain to be addressed.
